In anticipation of the Phoenix Mercurys 18th season, FOX Sports Arizona will debut Chasing Glory, a 30-minute special highlighting the teams
preparations as it strives for a third WNBA championship, tomorrow night (May 15) at 7:30 p.m.
During the show, fans will hear from Diana Taurasi about her expectations for the season and will be introduced to sharp-shooting guard Erin Phillips and
new Mercury head coach Sandy Brondello, as they share their excitement for joining the team. In addition, Mercury broadcaster Ann Meyers Drysdale catches
up with forward Penny Taylor, highlighting her recovery from last seasons knee surgery and her return to the hardwood.
Fans will also go behind the scenes with Brittney Griner as she promotes her new book, In My Skin, and stops for lunch at her favorite restaurant in Phoenix.
FOX Sports Arizona will re-air Chasing Glory on the following days: Friday, May 16 at 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Sunday, May 18 at 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 19 at 5 p.m. and Wednesday, May 21 at 10:30 p.m.
The Phoenix Mercury, presented by Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, will open the 2014 WNBA season on Saturday, May 17, when they host the Seattle
Storm at US Airways Center. And, don't forget, this summer the Mercury and US Airways Center host Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star 2014 on July 19. Season
