PHOENIX 'the Phoenix Mercury team is WHITE hot and will host Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday, August 29 at US Airways Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Mercury will tip-off the Western Conference Finals by hosting a "White Out," where 10,000 fans will receive a free white "Glory Awaits" Mercury Playoff t-shirt, courtesy of Fry's Food Stores.
As a long-time partner and supporter of the Phoenix Mercury, Fry's continues to assist the team in its chase for glory by offering fans two tickets to Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals with the purchase of $50 or more at local Fry's Food Stores.
The Mercury, looking for their third WNBA Championship in franchise history, advanced to the Conference Finals for the second consecutive year and the sixth time in the last eight years, and will play the Minnesota Lynx. The Mercury clinched homecourt advantage throughout the WNBA Playoffs thanks to a league-record 29 regular season wins.
