Overseas Update: Oct. 21, 2013

Every Monday throughout the WNBA off-season, PhoenixMercury.com will provide the X-Factor with weekly updates on how Mercury players are performing overseas.

The following updates include games played through October 20, 2013.

Krystal Thomas - Perfumerias (Spain): Playing with Shay Murphy, Thomas and Perfumerias have won two games thus far. Their first came on Oct. 12 against Burgos, 72-54. Thomas had 12 points and six boards. She followed that performance up with nine points and five rebounds in a 77-71 win over Mann Filter on Oct. 20.

Brittney Griner - Zhejiang (China): Griner will play in China during the offseason, but games won-t begin for several weeks.

Briana Gilbreath - Undecided

Charde Houston - Uni Girona (Spain): Houston and Uni Girona picked up wins over Conquero on Oct. 13 (61-58) and Cadi ICG S. on Oct. 19 (67-41). Houston tallied 16 points, three rebounds and three assists against Conquero and eight points, five rebounds against Cadi ICG S.

Jasmine James - Brazil (more information to come)

DeWanna Bonner - Nadezhda Orenburg (Russia): Bonner has not played for Nadezhda yet, but her team has won both games thus far. Their first victory was against Spartak N., 68-59, on Oct. 13. They followed that performance with a 79-65 win over Chevakata on Oct. 19. Bonner will play alongside former teammate Temeka Johnson, Kelly Miller and Glory Johnson.

Candice Dupree - Dynamo Kursk (Russia): Alongside Seimone Augustus and Epiphanny Prince in Russia, Dupree has played in one game thus far tallying 20 points and five rebounds in a loss to Dynamo M on Oct. 20. Previously, Dynamo Kursk fell to Energy Ivanovo 84-79 on Oct. 14.

Diana Taurasi - UMMC Ekaterinburg (Russia): You-ll be hard-pressed to find a more talented overseas team than UMMC. Taurasi joins the All-Star squad which includes Candace Parker, Sue Bird, Ann Wauters, Deanna Nolan and Maria Stepanova. Taurasi has not played for UMMC yet, but they have already picked up two big wins against Enisey on Oct. 15 (87-64) and Dynamo GUVD on Oct. 20 (82-45).

Lynetta Kizer - Undecided

Alexis Hornbuckle - Undecided

Penny Taylor - Undecided
