Overseas Update: Dec. 10, 2012

The following updates include games played through December 10, 2012.

Krystal Thomas  Jiangsu Phoenix (China): Riding a four-game winning streak, Thomas continues to put up impressive numbers in China. Her best game last week came in a 74-64 win over Bayi where she scored 28 points and pulled down 21 rebounds. Follow Thomas on Twitter and check out her overseas blog this week for some exciting, fun news.

Charde Houston  Maccabi Ashdod (Israel): Houston and Maccabi Ashdod are still undefeated at 5-0 and remain in first place in the Israeli League. In a win over Elitzur Netanya, Houston had 15 points to lead Ashdod. She is averaging 16.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 55% shooting and 50% from the 3-point line.

Sammy Prahalis  Prahalis has left Israel for family reasons.

DeWanna Bonner  Nadezhda Orenburg (Russia): Averaging 17.8 points and 11.7 rebounds in the EuroLeague, Bonner tallied 19 points and 12 rebounds in an 80-70 win over Arras on Dec. 5. However, Kristi Toliver and Crystal Langhornes Dynamo M. were too much for Nadezhda as they fell 88-68 on Dec. 9. They are now 5-2 in the Russian PBL.

Candice Dupree  Spartak (Russia): On Dec. 5, Dupree had 14 points and seven rebounds in a 70-68 win over Rivas Ecopolis. She followed that performance with 14 points and nine boards in a 79-72 victory over Chevakata on Dec. 9. Dupree and Spartak remain in fifth place in the Russian PBL at 5-2. She is averaging 14 points and 6.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague while shooting a blistering 59% from the floor.

Diana Taurasi  UMMC Ekaterinburg (Russia): Still undefeated, Taurasi and UMMC picked up huge wins over Galatasaray (71-70) and Dynamo K. (77-66) last week. Against Galatasaray (Lindsay Whalen, Sancho Lyttle, Sylvia Fowles) on Dec. 5, Taurasi led UMMC with 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Against Dynamo K. on Dec. 9, she tallied 22 points, three rebounds and seven assists. Taurasi is averaging 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in the EuroLeague.

Lynetta Kizer  KB Stars (South Korea): Kizer and the SB Stars played three games in the past week. In a 68-65 loss against Tina Thompsons Woori Hansae, Kizer started her double-double streak with 21 points and 12 rebounds. They played Woori Hansae again on Dec. 6, this time victorious (62-58), with Kizer adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Finally, to end the week on Dec. 9 against One FX, Kizer had 15 points and 15 rebounds in the 66-64 loss. Follow Kizer on Twitter here.

Alexis Hornbuckle  Hornbuckle will play for Elitzur Holon when she heads to Israel later this year.
