These pioneers have powerful stories to share regarding equal rights for women in sports, as they were on the front lines before Title IX was enacted in 1972 and have been instrumental in paving the way for organized sports for women in the United States. The members of the San Diego Splash continue to lead by example and shatter stereotypes regarding women in sports and beyond.
