Overseas Update: January 27, 2014

Every Monday throughout the WNBA off-season, PhoenixMercury.com will provide the X-Factor with weekly updates on how Mercury players are performing overseas.

The following updates include games played through January 26, 2013.

Krystal Thomas - Perfumerias (Spain): After picking up two wins over Mann Filter (90-51) and Pais-Vasco (76-73) Thomas and Perfumerias are now 12-2 in the LFB. Thomas is averaging just under five points, eight rebounds and 16 minutes of action while shooting 48 percent from the floor.

Brittney Griner - Zhejiang (China): Griner was named to the WCBA All-Star game and is averaging 22.5 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks overseas. Most recently, Griner tallied 22 points and 13 rebounds in a win over ShenYang (83-74) and 22 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks over Liaoning (78-64).

Briana Gilbreath - Undecided

Charde Houston - Uni Girona (Spain): Houston is having one of her best overseas seasons to date. She has helped lead Uni Girona to a 7-7 record while averaging 19.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals while shooting 55 percent from the field. Uni Girona beat Gran Camaria 80-76 and fell to Cadi ICG S. 50-41 this past week.

Jasmine James - James currently plays in Brazil for Sao Jose. Follow her on Twitter here for updates on her time overseas. Jazzy J is averaging 10 points, five rebounds and three assists while helping Sao Jose to a 4-2 record in the LBF.

DeWanna Bonner - Nadezhda Orenburg (Russia): Bonner has helped lead Nadezhda to an impressive 11-3 record in the PBL while averaging 18.9 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 63 percent. Bonner and Nadezhda beat Rivas Ecopol 78-50 as well as Dyn. - GUVD 83-64.

Candice Dupree - Dynamo Kursk (Russia): At 9-4 in the PBL, Dupree and Dynamo Kursk picked up wins over MBK Ruzomb (65-41) and Spartak N. (109-73). Dupree is averaging just under 12 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 45 percent from the floor in 29 minutes per game.

Diana Taurasi - UMMC Ekaterinburg (Russia): Taurasi and UMMC lead the PBL with a 12-1 record in the PBL. Taurasi is averaging 11.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 51 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the arc. UMMC beat Energy Ivano 85-49 but fell to Bourges in overtime, 77-69. Taurasi had 23 points in the loss including four 3-pointers.
