Mercury to Host Auditions for the 2018 Mercury Hip Hop Squad

The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury will host auditions for the 2018 Mercury Hip Hop Squad on Monday, April 16 at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Registration will take place in the Casino Arizona Pavilion beginning at 6 p.m., with auditions set to start on the practice court at 7 p.m.

Those possessing the skill and enthusiasm to become a member of the 2018 Mercury Hip Hop Squad are encouraged to showcase their ability and compete for a spot on this season’s team. Members of the Hip Hop Squad are expected to perform at all Mercury home games, interact with fans and appear at select community events throughout the 2018 season.

Performers must be at least 18 years of age in order to take part in auditions, and all participants are required to provide their resume and a recent headshot (8 x 10 recommended). There is no fee to audition and complimentary parking for all participants will be available in the Talking Stick Resort Arena garage, located on 1st Street, just south of Jefferson.

Select performers from the first round of auditions will participate in final auditions on Saturday, April 21 at Tempe Marketplace on the main stage near Dave & Buster’s beginning at 10 a.m.
