The All-Star Court for 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend is a Phoenix Mercury creation, dedicated to the incredible accomplishments of the women in our sport. From the years of Team USA’s Olympic Gold Medals, to the celebration of all 12 current WNBA teams, to acknowledgment of the years Phoenix has hosted and the X-Factor has shown up for the WNBA’s marquee event, the court is one-of-a-kind and intentional. But perhaps nothing is more special about this design, created in-house by the Mercury, than the keys on each end, which include the names of every All-Star in WNBA history and highlight the previous game MVPs. This transformational moment in women’s basketball was built on the shoulders of all the women who came before, who predated charter travel and signature shoes and dedicated practice facilities, but sacrificed every day to build opportunity for the athletes today.
This court is a celebration. And a thank you.
