FOX Sports Arizona to Debut 2015 Phoenix Mercury Preseason Special

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Mercury hoisted the 2014 WNBA Championship trophy last September and currently are in training camp preparing for the start of the 2015 season. Fans will be able to get a preview of this year’s team on FOX Sports Arizona with the debut of the 2015 Phoenix Mercury Preseason Special on Thursday at 9 p.m.

The special will feature exclusive interviews with members of the Phoenix Mercury and an in-depth look at the 2015 roster from the 2014 WNBA Coach of the Year Sandy Brondello. Insight from general manager Jim Pitman will also be a part of the special as the team looks to defend the title.

In addition to the debut on Thursday at 9 p.m. the show will also air on FOX Sports Arizona at the following times:

  • Thursday, May 28 at 11 p.m.
  • Friday, May 29 at 10:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 31 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 31 at 10:30 p.m.
  • Monday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 2 at 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 4 at 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 6 at 5:30 p.m.

Brondello leads the 2015 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Brittney Griner, All-Star Candice Dupree and the three-time WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year DeWanna Bonner as the Mercury open defense of their title on Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. against the San Antonio Stars at US Airways Center.
