MERCURY AND FOX SPORTS ARIZONA SET 2020 LOCAL BROADCAST SLATE

Seven Mercury games to be aired by FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus in 2020

With new momentum behind the WNBA in anticipation of the 2020 season launch this Saturday, the three-time champion Phoenix Mercury and local broadcast partner Fox Sports Arizona (FSAZ) today announced a seven-game slate of broadcasts on the network.  Despite a shortened 22-game regular season from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fl., FSAZ and the Mercury will still air the same number of games as 2019.

Thanks to FSAZ (seven games), the ESPN family of networks (six games), and CBS Sports Network (five games), at least 18 of the Mercury’s 22 regular season games will be available to basketball fans in Phoenix live in their living rooms.  The remaining four games will be streamed via WNBA League Pass.  Additional Mercury games may still be added locally or nationally at a later date.

Hall-of-Famer Ann Meyers Drysdale returns for her seventh year as color commentator for Phoenix and will be joined by longtime Suns and Mercury host and play-by-play broadcaster Tom Leander.  The pair will broadcast the games remotely from Phoenix.

Information on where to find FOX Sports Arizona for each respective cable or satellite provider can be found by clicking here, while information on where to find FOX Sports Arizona Plus channels can be found here. All games televised on FSAZ or FSAZ+ will also be streamed on the FOX Sports GO app.
