Beyond turning US Airways Center pink, the team will wear pink uniforms on Friday night and celebrate breast cancer survivors during a number of in-game festivities. The Mercury will tipoff the evening with a luminaria drive, offering fans the opportunity to purchase a luminaria for $1 and write a message in honor of someone who has been affected by breast cancer. The luminarias will be placed in the shape of a breast cancer ribbon and lit at halftime, with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.
