Mercury vs. Shock: Everything You Need to Know
The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury’s chase for a second-straight WNBA title will begin on Thursday, September 17 at 7 p.m. at US Airways Center against the Tulsa Shock.
The Mercury (20-14), who earned the #2-seed in the Western Conference, start their quest to repeat as WNBA Champions on Thursday as they head to the playoffs for the 10th time in team history and the sixth trip to the postseason in the last seven seasons.
They’ll face the #3-seed Tulsa Shock (18-16) — a team who has certainly impressed despite being fraught with a number of injuries throughout the year (most notably superstar Skylar Diggins).
