Phoenix Mercury to Celebrate Native American Heritage Night, July 14

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Mercury will celebrate Native American Heritage Night when the team hosts the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday, July 14 at US Airways Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

As part of the celebration, the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Phoenix Mercury Native American Heritage Night rally towel. The night will also consist of multiple Native American performances throughout the evening. In addition, fans are invited to attend a Q&A session with Atlanta Dream guard Shoni Schimmel, taking place on the main court following the game.

Sandy Brondello, 2014 WNBA Coach of the Year, leads 2014 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Brittney Griner, All-Star Candice Dupree and three-time WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year DeWanna Bonner as the Mercury continue to defend their title on Tuesday, July 14 at 7 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream at US Airways Center.
