Phoenix Mercury and ABUS Announce Brittney Blocks Promotion to Benefit Arizona Humane Society

The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury and ABUS will team up for the “Brittney Blocks” initiative, a promotion in which ABUS will donate $50 to the Arizona Humane Society each time Mercury center Brittney Griner records a blocked shot during the 2019 WNBA season. During the 2019 season, Griner and Mercury mascot Scorch will make a visit to the Arizona Humane Society tomeet with staff, volunteers and AHS’ pets. Griner, Scorch, and representatives from ABUS and the Arizona Humane Society will also partake in an on-court presentation on September 8 to highlight the “Brittney Blocks” promotion and share the final donation amount.
